| Well...I suppose I should update, even if it is just from the library on base...for 3.4 minutes. lol We're moved in...things are going really really well. House looks good (however, apartment like because we're not gonna be there for too long). Wedding plans are in the works---official date is December 29th, 2007!!! I hate the weather down here, love the sun.....hate the rain, but love that it blocks out the oh so yucky humidity. Let's see....I'm becoming all domesticated...dinner and cleaning and a job. WooHoo! Workin' at Aero now, so discount is always nice. Other than that, not much new. I'm bored outta my mind and can't wait to go back home and start planning stuff!!! | I'M ENGAGED!!!!!!!!!!! AND....I'm moving to North Carolina TOMORROW. Mike and I got the apartment and we're trecking down tomorrow (me and the 'rents). Probably spending the night and makin' a two day trip...but still, super exciting! I still can't believe all my junk fit in my car and my dad's truck. amazing. Probably post more later, but as for right now, I'm super sleepy and need some rest--because let's face it--packing wears you out. | | |
| HE'S HOME!!!!!!!!!! Mike is finally home!! Things are absolutely amazing... His family was here until Wednesday afternoon--trips to the beach, goin' out to eat, and I got to meet his cousins. Let me just say that I don't want to have kids for another 7 or so years, but I LOVE babies....I spent most of the day with a 1 1/2 year old on my hip while I pitched/played softball with the 7year old. SOOO much fun.  Mike and I are going to look for apartments tomorrow. We've got a couple places in mind. Then I have to put in for a transfer at AE (just to keep me sane while he's at work) and start figuring out what we're gonna need me to bring when I come down here for good! I can't wait! He had duty today....all day. Stupid USMC making me sit in our hotel room for 24+ hours alone...and bored. Needless say, it will be a day of internet, movies, working out (yes, I just now figured out that this hotel has a treadmill...ugh) and sitting by the pool. I wish I had a car....I could be so much more productive. That's about all for now! | | |
| I GOT TO SEE MIKE!!!! I absolutely love technology...the internet....and web cams! He got online tonight and surprised the hell outta me with a 'guess what...I have a web cam.' I finally, after months and months, got to see him. I cannot stop smiling! He looks amazing. And....less than a week to go before I am in sunny (no rain...fingers crossed!) North Carolina. I can't wait!!! Same news on when he's coming home. I'll be there a day before just to get settled, and will stay until the 27th. We finally have a plan! Thank God!!! Now I just have to get feelin' better so I don't sneeze all over him when I see him! ewww lol. Oh, and don't watch the movie Catch and Release. It's a major 'I miss my man' movie. ANNNNND.....I am almost done cleaning...we almost have our living room back--moving home is a BAD idea. Comes with too much cleaning and way too much realizing that I have tooooo much junk. Salvo will LOVE me at the end of the week. Okay....gotta take my elated butt to bed now  | | |
| I am DONE!!! Thank goodness for the end of the semester! Final consensus: All A's! (and A-...stupid +/- grading system!) Goin to graduation tomorrow to see my favorites leave me. No clue what to get people when they graduate college--mainly because I've never had to go to a graduation before. Hm...... Hung out w/Mike's family tonight. They took me to get ice cream...pretty much my favorite Mike and I had a tattoo discussion today...consisted of: Yes, I like tattoos, but NO I do not like sleeves...but it's your body so if you need to get them, get them. I really really hope he doesn't need to get them. They're so yucky. He knows when he's leaving "the city", so if I don't hear from him, at least I know why--makes me stress less. After that, only a couple weeks before I get to see him! This deployment is ALMOST OVER! Oh, and he finally sent me pictures--I guess some photographer was there and took about 15 pictures of him, so I got to see what my boyfriend looks like as of 3 days ago! Gotta love the internet! I think I'm gonna watch 'Stranger than Fiction' tonight. I'm bored, and the movie guy at Family Video gave me 2 free movies. I'm feelin' a popcorn and pajama night.
